Installation: Fatal Error Class 'File' missing

Postby janprobst » Fri Mar 05, 2010 9:27 am

Hi I would like to start working with typo light as this seems to be the tool i've been looking for.

To thoroughly evaluate I got free webspace at 365-hosting.com, uploaded the installation package and run typos system-check.php It seems to tell that all server settings are just fine (except SOAP support).

Upon calling install.php I receive the following message: Fatal error: Class 'File' not found in /home/taschpir/public_html/typolight/system/libraries/Config.php on line 174

Any Ideas? Thanks for your help.

In system/libraries do you have a file File.php?
Does it have a permissions problem?

Go back to the system check tool and see if it's listing any missing files. As ramjet pointed out, it looks like File.php is missing.

Thanks for that. You are right. File.php is on the server but is now shown as "corrupt" along with 6 other files. No idea how that could happen.

I will replace the files on the servers and try again. I will post if this does not solve the issue.
